Helping People Follow Jesus

The Kids' Kingdom staff works together as a team to ensure that each child is taught according to the “age appropriate” teaching philosophy. This philosophy is based on Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”“The way he should go” recognizes that God makes each person uniquely special and has a plan for the “way” each should go. Through this philosophy, each child will receive foundations that will help him/her develop as a whole child, according to God’s design (mentally, physically, spiritually, socially and emotionally).
The Fall/Spring program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. for ages 6 weeks through Kindergarten. We generally coincide with the school schedule, beginning in September, ending in May, and following the usual holiday schedule. The summer program meets for six weeks in June/July on Thursdays only, 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. for ages 6 weeks through completed second grade. Registration begins in the spring for both the summer and fall sessions and continues until the classes are filled.
For more information, you can find the registration form and parent handbook below. You can also contact the Director, Joanie Swingler, at 254.652.7140 or joanie-swingler@highlandbc.org.
