Sprained Arm Healed

My daughter and son and I went to a local car dealer today to look at some used cars. We pulled into their lot, parked, and got out. A salesman named Brad hiked over to where we were to introduce himself.

Before Brad could offer to help us, I offered to help him - as he strode up, I saw that he was awkwardly holding his left arm out as if it was hurting him.

"Man that looks painful. What happened?"

"Oh I sprained it a few days ago. It hurts."

Brad explained that he'd bought a trampoline for his children and was showing them some of the trampoline tricks he used to do when he was a boy. Only now, as a not-so-agile 30-something-year-old man, he took a hard fall and injured his arm.

I offered to pray for him, and with an eager "Sure!" - Brad accepted.

I prayed a simple prayer, and the Lord instantly took away all of the pain and restored full movement!

Now, I've got a decades-long skeptic streak in me - maybe this guy is just telling me he feels better; after all, he wants to sell us a car... got to make the customer happy, right? So over the course of our 45-minute visit, I watched carefully and asked Brad a couple times how his arm was doing. Everything he reported and everything I observed testified that he indeed was completely healed!

Brad was a believer, so he already knew to give thanks to the Lord and to look for others with arm problems for whom he could pray. He even shared a few healing stories of his own from the church he and his family attend.

By the way, we didn't end up buying a car there. I guess the miracle healing of a sprained arm is one thing; getting a used car sales manager to lower a high price is another....
